The 19th Annual Genbukai Canada Koshukai was held May 7, 8, 9th, 2004 at
Lakeland College in Lloydminster, Alberta.
380 members attended the three day seminar series featuring Demura Shihan. The weekend began with 22 individuals attempting dan tests, followed by a black belt kata seminar. Saturday's events included a children's seminar attended by 130
junior members and an adult seminar attended by more than 250 people. A weapons seminar and annual awards banquet completed the day. On Sunday, a kata
tournament was held in the morning and the seminar series closed with a general
session for all members in the afternoon. As usual Demura Shihan thrilled members with his signature work-out that left everyone excited, tired, but ready for more! On behalf of Genbukai Canada we thank Demura Shihan for coming and
providing such a great training opportunity for our members.
